Nepali Women on the final step to carve the History!!

The Nepali women cricket team entered the finals of the ACC Women’s Tournament by thrashing China in the semi finals played at the Johar Hajru cricket ground, Malaysia, on Tuesday. The Nepali cricketers registered a comfortable 9 wickets victory over the Chinese side loosing only 1 wicket.
Earlier China was bowled out for 40 in 28.5 overs after it had won the toss and elected to bat. Nepal easily overcame 41 runs in just 14.1 overs, taking advantage of weak bowling of China which offered 21 extra runs.
Opener Madhu Thapa contributed 10 runs while Ritu Kanaujia contributed 9 runs before
hitting the target. Manisha Rawal also scored one run before returning to the pavilion.
Keshari Chaudhary, the highest wicket taker from the Nepali side, took 3-5 while Ritu Kanoujiya, Nira Rajopadhaya, Sita Ranamagar, Nary Thapa and Neetu Thapa took one wicket each.
In the final match to be played in Johor Cricket Academy on Wednesday, the Nepali team will face Bangladesh who beat pre-tournament favourites Hong Kong by 59 runs.
