Kathmandu, August 11, NS report -
Nepal National and International Players Association (NNIPA) issued a press release on Tuesday asking all the concerned parties - the sports ministry, National Sports Council (NSC) and all the related sports associations to start preparation for the 11th South Asian Games (SAG).
With less than six months for the SAG which, will be held in Bangladesh in January NSC has not been able to come up with a concrete plans for the preparation. In the press release issued on Tuesday NNIA hailed NSC and related associations for sending the players to the Asian Martial Arts Championship without proper training.
Referring to Nepal’s dismal performance in the first Asian Martial Arts Championship, which was held in Thailand last week, NNIPA said the same results might come in the upcoming SAG if preparation for it is not start soon.
