Nepal wins its first practice match

Nepal won its first practice match against Bermuda U-19 team by 188 runs on Tuesday. In the match played at Kilat Club Cricket Ground in Malaysia Nepal made a total of 256 runs after winning the toss and electing to bat first.
Bermuda in reply lasted only 23.1 overs and was wrapped up for 68 runs. Amrit Bhattarai took three wickets while skipper Paras Khadka and Raj Shrestha grabbed two wickets each. Abhaya Rana, Rahul Vishwakarma and Sagar Khadka shared a wicket each.
Earlier Paras top scored with 63 runs while his deputy Gyanendra Malla added 37 runs. Likewise Sagar Khadka and Puspa Thapa remained not out at 30 and 20 runs respectively.
Nepal plays its second practice match on 14th February against Zimbabwe at Royal Military College Ground.
