Nepal defeated by Australia

Nepal lost its second match of the U-19 world cup to Australia by 96 runs on Tuesday. Nepal’s chances of reaching the Super eight has almost ended now. Nepal will make it to the super eight only if, Sri Lanka losses both of its matches against Namibia and Australia and wins the Match against Namibia by a big margin.
In the match Played at University Sains Malaysia Nepal on winning the toss chose to field. The bowlers did well to bowl Australia out to 206 runs within 49.3 overs. But the batting failed to par with the bowling once again. As Nepal in reply managed only 110 in 32.1 overs.
Number nine batsman Rahul Vishwakarma scored the highest runs he was not out at 33 runs. Mahesh Chhetri was first wicket to fall. He was run out at the by Hughes when the teams total was 16. Nepal’s batting did not recover form then on. Gyanendra Malla showed some resistance before being edging to Smith of Pattinson. Rom Shrestha added 12 runs. Shrestha was caught at the slips by hill in Rose’s ball.
Earlier Opener Phillip Hughes made 46 of 94 balls. He was stumped off Rahul Vishwakarma’s. Michael Hill added quick 12 runs in equal balls. Paras Khada took four wickets while Raj Shrestha took three, Rahul Vishwakarma took two and Antim Magar took one each.
